Lecturer: Maria Sanchez
Theme: To present a historical approach to the Evolution of African Traditions in Cuba.
The lecture will begin with a brief synopsis of the history of Cuba. The Lecturer will then present African Heritage from a Theoretical and Artistic perspective with emphasis on the Yoruba Culture.
PHILOSOPHY AND PSYCHOLOGY OF SUCCESS
Lecturer: Dr. Clinton Hutton
Theme: The lecture aims to instruct how to construct the type of thinking and practicing that would allow young people to become successful by using people, nationally and internationally, from humble background who have become successful. Emphasis would be placed on their characteristics and principles, for instance responsibility, of living that they employ.
BIO
Dr. Clinton Hutton is a lecturer in Political Philosophy and Culture in the Department of Government, the University of the West Indies. He is also an artist and photographer.
